All we need for Aquaponic farming are pollytunnels, Water, Fish, Light, a little heat and grow beds.....it really is that simple.  We have no requirements for fertilisers, crop spraying or anything unnatural.  Once our crops are ready we then pick and package by hand where we will employ a few people which helps the local economy.

We don't plough fields or need tractors and it's not intensive farming so there is no need for anything other than what nature provides.  The only time we would use electricity other than powering small pumps for moving water is to power our LED grow lights over the winter, however we will not stress our plants and limit them to 14 hrs of light per day when required.
